A Night Beneath The Elder Sign

A Night Beneath The Elder Sign

Three stories, three storytellers, all presented for the very first time. Kai Hastur of Screen Rebels (creator of last year's sold out "Shroud of Charon") opens with a fireside reading of "The Music of Eric Zann," followed by festival founder TL Wiswell's shadow puppet "The Doom That Came to Sarnath" (yes it's frogs this year!). Finally Sam Enthoven's "Shivers" brings a spooky spin on fungal fun with "The Voice in the Night" by William Hope Hodgson.

Content warnings: existential dread; cosmic horror

Theatre Company Reviews:

"Using a variety of digital instruments to create a changing soundscape of ghoulish sounds ... the 45-minute Lovecraft Shivers is an unusual theatrical experience that is part concert, part creepy Jackanory" - The Reviews Hub (for 2019's Lovecraft Shivers)

" A beautifully adapted, cleverly rendered presentation of one of Lovecraft’s best-known tales, delivered in a way which managed to surprise even the most fervent Lovecraft devotees" -  Starbust Magazine (for 2023's "The Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath")
