Grandma's Shop

Grandma's Shop

Clothes, cats and counter-culture.

Sheffield, 1989. Loveable, eccentric 71-year-old, Hilda, has run a second-hand clothes shop for decades. She does it to make money to feed 30 stray cats. One day, a journalist from The Guardian walks in…

Join Hilda’s granddaughter, Julie Flower, for a multi-character comedy-drama about family history subverting expectations. All in a nostalgic world of old carrier bags, pools coupons and vintage clothes.

Julie is delighted to bring her 5-star Edinburgh Fringe hit show to Drayton Arms Theatre prior to returning to Edinburgh this summer.

Written and performed by Julie Flower

Dramaturgy and direction by Sarah Chew
