Happy Mortalday by Leoni Amandin is an interactive performance lecture. Leoni playfully explores her personal relationship with death, and invites audiences to join her.
This party-inspired gathering packs a lot of fascinating facts about different funeral practices from around the world, exciting developments from the funeral industry, hilarious death-related shower thoughts, as well as giving practical advice for living well so we can die well. It also involves a small arts and crafts activity, so everyone gets to take home a souvenir too!
There will be a 30 minute after show discussion with end of life doula Sabrina Singh. Sabrina will facilitate a guided conversation about death inspired by the curiosity of the participants.
